Rick
Cochran
President and CEO
Rick Cochran founded Mobile Medical
International Corporation (MMIC) in 1994 and has served as President
and Chief Executive Officer since the company's inception. Prior to launching MMIC, Mr.
Cochran founded Outpatient Services of America (OSA), a healthcare
consulting company specializing in the planning and development of
ambulatory surgery facilities to address the spiraling costs of
healthcare by helping physicians develop cost-effective outpatient
surgery centers. Mr.
Cochran's experience provided the foundation for the development of
MMIC into a company offering engineered solutions for both
commercial and military healthcare delivery solutions that have
evolved into two distinctly separate but inherently related product
lines. He designed the
original Mobile Surgery Unit™ (MSU) that has become the flagship for
MMIC. He also developed
the performance specifications and initial concept layout for the
military product line based on the MSU that allows U.S. health care
standards to be taken to the forward battle lines. He has become a recognized
expert on the mobile surgery industry and has presented at industry
conferences where he has shared his experience. In addition, Mr. Cochran has
published a number of articles relating to mobile surgery facilities
and the development and growth of the mobile surgery industry. He holds a B.S. in Business
Administration from Lyndon State
College.
